Surgery for your pet can be daunting.
We’ll walk you through all your options and discuss the benefits of each procedure and any associated risks and side effects. We want to ensure that your pet has their best chance for a happy, healthy life, and that you feel confident in the decisions you’re making on their behalf. We’re in this together.

Tibial Plateau Level Osteotomy (TPLO)
TPLO is a complex surgery for a torn CCL, which is the animal equivalent of an ACL, designed to negate the need for the ligament entirely.

Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy, or keyhole surgery, is a family of surgeries designed to be as minimally invasive as possible, using small incisions in the abdomen and a camera and scope to guide the procedure. We use laparoscopy for spaying, liver and pancreas biopsies, bile samples, and a few other procedures

Arthrex Tightrope System®
The Arthrex Tightrope System is a less invasive surgery for a torn CCL than many of the common alternatives and works by implanting a prosthetic ligament to help stabilize the joint after injury, preventing excessive pain and chronic inflammation.

Autologous Conditioned Plasma (ACP) System
With the ACP System, we can accelerate the healing of ligament, tendon, and joint injuries and reduce pain from osteoarthritis and wounds by using plasma derived from a blood sample. There is a very low risk of side effects and in some cases no need for pain medication.

Dental Surgery
Dental surgery for pets is a key part of overall health and well-being, especially since most pets have periodontal disease by the age of 3. We offer a full range of dental services for animals, including surgery.

Neutering and Spaying
Neutering and spaying is the responsible option in most cases and helps prevent undue aggression and territorial marking as well as the impulse to roam, which can result in lost pets. We perform both procedures.

Orthopedic Surgery
Orthopedic surgery is designed to resolve issues around the bones, ligaments, and joints. We provide number of procedures in this category.

Anesthesia
There are many cases where we need to administer general anesthesia. We’ll discuss the risks and benefits with you as well as what you need to do to best prepare your pet.

Eye Surgery
Your pet’s eyesight is a critical component of their overall quality of life. We perform eye surgeries to restore vision stemming from old age deterioration or injuries.

Oncology Surgery
Cancer is incredibly common in dogs, cats, and ferrets, and surgery is often the first choice of treatment. We’ll be with you every step of the way, performing biopsies, tumour removals, and other oncological surgeries.
