About Our In-House Laboratory
We perform in-house lab testing for dogs, cats, and ferrets in Prince George to quickly diagnose and treat their illnesses and other conditions.
Our in-house lab is a full laboratory set-up staffed by our Registered Animal Health Technologists. It allows us to perform in-depth, same day testing to ensure your pet gets treatment in a timely minor.

It even allows us to easily monitor pets with chronic conditions and immediately adjust treatments in response to changes.
We collect blood, stool, and urine samples for analysis in our full in-house laboratory. It allows us to perform hematology (complete blood count or CBC), blood chemistry, cardiac enzymes, urinalysis, and more. We can even examine cells under a microscope (cytology) for biopsy analyses.

Our in-house lab dramatically cuts down on the amount of time between testing and treatment, and often, we can start treating your pet immediately. There are a few tests such as Histopathology, Serology or fluid analysis may need to be sent to specialized laboratories for analysis, but 90% of the time, we can give you answers the same day.
