Our Pet Services
Veterinary Pet Services in Prince George, BC
Our pet services allow us to quickly diagnose a wide range of conditions and treat serious issues safely and effectively.
This ensures we can provide prompt care without delay and get your pets back to being healthy and happy as soon as possible.

Physical Exams
Physical exams are the starting point for almost all veterinary treatments. They let us diagnose many conditions on the spot, and they’ll always be the first thing we do when you bring your pet in for a visit.

Full In-house Lab Testing
Our in-house lab is a full laboratory set-up, staffed by our Registered Animal Health Technologists, that allows us to immediately test bloodwork, biopsy samples, and other key diagnostic procedures that ensure we can get treatment for your pet as soon as possible.

Pet Vaccinations
Vaccines greatly reduce the chances of getting sick as well as the severity and duration of illnesses when they are contracted. We offer routine and specialized vaccines, which we’ll administer depending on your pet’s breed, age, and species.
Care for the heart
Cardiac testing and monitoring to ensure your pet’s heart stays healthy.
We offer testing to determine issues with the heart and cardiovascular system, including in-clinic testing and at-home monitoring for a complete picture of your pet’s heart health.

Cardiac Ultrasound
Cardiac ultrasounds let us view live images of your pet’s heart to help us detect anomalies in its form and movements for better diagnoses.

ECG
Electrocardiograms measure the electrical activity of the heart, so we can detect abnormally fast, slow, or irregular heart beats.

Holter Monitoring
Holter monitoring tracks your pet’s heart activity for 24 hours, providing a broader view than an ECG and detecting occasional rhythm abnormalities.
From the Inside Out
Sometimes, we need to see what’s happening on the inside.
Ultrasounds, endoscopies, and x-rays are all key testing procedures to diagnose issues with internal organs (and any stray debris that may have made its way into your pet’s digestive system).

Diagnostic Ultrasound
Diagnostic ultrasounds let us see live images of your pet’s internal organs to help with diagnosing a wide range of conditions and illnesses.

Endoscopy
Endoscopies are when we insert a camera through either the throat or rectum to diagnose conditions in the digestive system in a minimally invasive manner.

Pet Digital X-rays
Digital X-rays are an important tool for finding irregularities in the form of your pet’s bones and tissues as well as when looking for foreign objects.
Standing tall
Some of the tools and treatments we offer include determining the source of pain and difficulty moving.
Stance analysis lets us diagnose issues with your pet’s ability to stand and walk comfortably, and laser therapy lets us reduce pain and inflammation for chronic mobility issues such as arthritis and join paint as well as speed healing for acute injuries like sprains.

Laser Therapy
Laser therapy uses a low-level beam of light to treat pain, inflammation, and stiffness in the muscles and joints and promote faster healing.

Stance Analyzer
The Stance Analyzer is a diagnostic tool that lets us detect irregularities in your pet’s stance and walk. This is incredibly useful for finding issues that could cause lameness, especially if your pet tends to mask pain.
